YogaBuds is committed to developing yoga as part of mainstream education in primary and special needs schools, resulting in more children receiving the benefits. This can only happen by training more specialist teachers. They will need a qualification to teach and that qualification needs to be accredited to be meaningful. That accreditation, from Edexcel, is now in place and will be known as the:
BTEC - Advanced Diploma for Teaching Yoga to Children
Edexcel is one of the county’s foremost awarding bodies. A course accredited by Edexcel is recognised and valued throughout the educational sector in the UK and internationally. The accreditation brings with it a promise of quality assurance for students on the course and an increased respect from schools who will want the safest yoga for their children. Given that, you may feel confident that this is the best route to earn your credentials for teaching yoga in schools.
